CORBA : CORBA Internet Inter-Orb Protocol

IIOP is now the standard CORBA protocol for ORB-to-ORB interworking. Also, it has recently been added as the transport protocol for Java RMI (Remote Method Invocation).
The "plumbing" of the new "Object-Web".
